Open Enrollment Information for the 2022 Plan Year.

At Ricart Automotive, we know how important it is to have comprehensive, affordable health benefits. That’s why we offer competitive plans that can provide protection, peace of mind, and savings.

It’s time for you to begin thinking about your 2022 benefits choices. Ricart Automotive conducts an annual open enrollment period during which benefits-eligible employees can enroll in or make changes to their benefits. Open enrollment for the 2022 plan year will begin on November 1, 2021, and will end on November 12, 2021.

New this year: Nationwide Pet Insurance

We are happy to introduce the addition of voluntary, employee-paid pet insurance through Nationwide during Open Enrollment 2021.  Pets are like family. We know how difficult it can be when a member of the family becomes sick or injured. When you and your pet need it the most, Nationwide My Pet Protection pet insurance will be there to help you cover veterinary expenses by offering plan choices, more flexibility, and a team of caring and passionate pet advocates, many of who are pet parents themselves.

New this year: Bay Bridge Supplemental Insurance

At Ricart Automotive, we value our employees and strive to secure the best benefits at the best value.  As part of our benefits review for the 2022 plan year, we took a look at our voluntary benefits to find the best options in the marketplace.

Effective January 1st, 2022, Ricart Automotive has a new voluntary benefits provider, offering employees access to more attractive voluntary benefit plans, with enhanced features and wellness benefit options.  The current coverage with Transamerica will be transitioned to the equivalent supplemental plans offered through Bay Bridge Administrators. These changes will be reflected in your ADP portal during open enrollment.

For those of you already enrolled in Transamerica, please watch your email and text for a letter from our third party administrator Voluntary Benefits at Work announcing this change and providing you a list of your current coverage with Transamerica and the comparable coverage options with Bay Bridge Administrators.

Please see posted brochures for additional information regarding the new plan coverage with Bay Bridge Administrators.

PLEASE NOTE:  Transamerica’s coverage, TransElite Universal Life, WILL remain in effect.  The remaining Transamerica coverage, accident, critical illness and hospital plans will terminate effective 12/31/2021.
